After nearly two years of constantly catching my husband in lies, he finally told me I was disposable. I filed for divorce the next day, then found out about multiple women he’d cheated with while we were together.

A year later, I started dating the “hot dude” I met through work. Just two months into the relationship, I learned he had a felony conviction for domestic violence, then experienced his abuse myself. I escaped and moved across the country, then he followed me those 800 miles and physically abused me inside my own home. I filed criminal charges, was issued a protection order, then moved to the Sunshine State to start over again.

For nearly a year, I have been in a relationship with myself. I landed my dream job as an ad agency director, learned to control my thoughts and challenge the beliefs that once hurt me. I’ve prioritized self-love and forgiveness, traveled the world solo – and been single and happy – on purpose.

Sick to death of being told  you won’t, you can’t, you shouldn’t.

You won’t leave me.
